Photography - Handmade Fiber Based Silver Gelatin Print 15 x 10 cm 2018 Chile, 2016. This photograph belongs to The Oval, a body of work built across twenty years all over the world. Wherever it appears, football creates moments when difference falls away and belonging takes its place. The game has also been my passport through time. It carries me back to the south of Madrid, where I grew up, to friends found on the pitch, to a family shaped by the same game. This work holds the memory of an emotion, one that always takes me home.
