My art practice centres on portraiture as a powerful form of storytelling. I’m fascinated by the way a face can hold emotion, memory, and identity, and I aim to capture those quiet, honest moments that often go unnoticed. Through a mix of traditional techniques and contemporary influences, I create portraits that invite reflection and connection both with the subject and within the viewer. Each piece is a dialogue between presence and absence, detail and suggestion, and I’m particularly interested in how a portrait can speak beyond likeness, offering a glimpse into someone’s inner world. My work is rooted in empathy, observation, and a deep appreciation for the complexity of human expression.
