Inspired by Roy Keane’s infamous 2001 “prawn sandwich” remark at Old Trafford, this piece reimagines life after football. Keane, once the fierce midfield general, now runs his own cafe, serving the very delicacy he used to criticise. Blending satire with nostalgia, the work explores identity beyond the pitch, where intensity gives way to irony, and the roar of the crowd fades into the quiet ritual of coffee cups and conversation.
