GIRLFANS England is an artist-led photographic zine that documents football through the lived experiences of women, girls and non-binary fans. Bringing together photography, writing and original artwork across both the women’s and men’s game, it forms a collective cultural record shaped by those often absent from mainstream coverage. Produced between 2018 and 2025, the work captures a moment of transformation in English football, using print as a tactile, self-published medium to hold memory, authorship and community.
